Luis Lopez Automotive, Inc.

Everything looks good, but I noticed you didn't put the heat shield over the exhaust manifold back on. Is it necessary? I actually like the way it looks without it.

I can’t say enough about Luis Lopez Automotive! First of all, he’s psychic… I get a text from him reminding me it’s been a while since my last service on the same day my Prius tells me I will be needing service soon! Spooky…. Aside from that, Luis is just a nice, honest man who does a quick, efficient job. He goes the extra mile just because… I highly recommend his business for your car!

I love this super cute, family style shop. I drove from Koreatown to Atwater to keep coming to this place after I moved. . Have you ever wanted to be treated with dignity and respect while getting your car worked on? Have you ever wished they would do what they say they’re gonna do at the price they say they’re gonna do it at? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to trust a mechanic? Women and queers to the front because it is a joy to come to this place and feel absolutely no shit coming from the men here. I am gender nonconforming and that is rare indeed. I love you Luis Lopez Automotive!

I’ve been going to Luis for a few years now, and it’s always been the best, most trustworthy experience. Never an upsell, just the work that’s needed. And there has never been a need for a return trip after something else mysteriously goes wrong. Great shop, very clean, no cars stacked up waiting for something.

This has quickly become a place I can trust with my vehicles. Both in knowledge and pricing. I do most of the work on my own cars, but if it's something out of my wheelhouse, I take my car here. Their cost breakdown really helps one understand what they're paying for.
