Team at JMP was quick to respond to my inquiry. Very friendly and knowledgeable team. Technician did a ride along with me and was able to diagnose and fix the issue in the matter of an hour or so. Was in and out of the shop under 2 hours. Although my issue was rather trivial for an experienced technician, I believe JMP would be able to provide the same efficiency with any other issues.

I'll start with the GOOD. They're professional and friendly. They performed a detailed inspection of my car and have a tech-savvy system to share quotes and photos of the car during inspection. Their inspection of the car was one of the best I've ever had (some photos and finding issues I didn't know about). However, they incorrectly diagnosed my issue (further in the review). However, after the inspection, everything else is BAD. The quote I received was ridiculously overpriced. The quote, with a 2 year warranty, was $3.4k. I ended up buying the parts needed myself at a third of the price they quoted and hiring another reputable mechanic (also 5-stars on Yelp and hundreds of reviews) with my total cost being $1k. After I got the job done, it turned out that the issue wasn't even with the AC compressor as they diagnosed! What a waste of time, energy, and money for all involved. Regardless of how good this company may be (reputation and quality wise per other reviews here), it should not be a 250% upcharge for this, plus an incorrect diagnostic that lost me $1k (with them it would've been $3.4k), especially since I was able to get another very reputable company to do the same job for less than a third of their price. I don't trust their quotes or diagnostics, and won't be returning to them again.

I’m a return customer for JMP. A few years back I’ve routinely had them align my Civic Type R for track duty. They’ve always been able to align to my requested specs, finally landing on -3 front -2 rear 0 toe all around. Stepping into the European car scene, I’ve had them service my Audi and Benz. Meticulous and professional. Dealership quality service without the dealership experience.. and that’s a good thing. They won’t make you feel like you need to trade the whip in for something newer. The waiting room is clean and modern. Stocked with an assortment of refreshments and snacks. From the friendly service writer to the competent mechanic, the guys just know what other car guys are looking for. Honest, quality work from fellow enthusiasts that know what they’re doing. I won’t hesitate to refer anyone and everyone.

Great all around. Terrific communication. Friendly service. And most importantly they did a great job on the car. Also - they're honest. I had a question about my brakes and they explained what the issue was - nothing important, no work required. So many other places out there these days would jump on that and sell me new rotors and pads.
