🔧 A1 Auto Repair & Smog Check- Pass or Free

Went in today to get my car smogged. Staff was super friendly. I was a little rushed, but they were able to accommodate and had me in and out quickly and efficiently.

I just want to thank the team at A1 for the great service they’ve provided over the past couple of years. I’m often abroad, so it’s mostly my daughter’s car they take care of—and they’re always there for her after I’ve made the arrangements. Thank you for making my life easier, and for always making my daughter feel comfortable.

If you're looking for an honest auto repair shop, this is the place to go. I brought in my Lincoln Aviator to check if it needed new brakes, and they told me I could wait much longer before replacing them. I really appreciate their honesty — it's hard to find mechanics like that these days.

I came in for a 30 mile service for my Audi. Was charged just slightly less then what I got quoted at Audi, but still went with it because I wanted to save at least something, but that was a mistake. When I picked up my car, they said “the service due light in your car is not gonna go away” when I asked why, he said it’s because they’d have to check the breaks too in order for the light to go away. So what did I just pay you for? Then, they handed me a list of things I need to get done on my car. They quoted me $1300 for breaks?! I guess because I’m a female they don’t feel bad charging me so much. Today I went somewhere else and paid HALF THE PRICE!! Now I have to go to Audi and pay for the 30k mile service AGAIN, to get the actual service done. Feels like I just paid them $270 for a simple oil change.

Stopped by A1 Auto Repair for a second opinion and I’m so glad I did. Sako was honest, helpful, and got me back on the road right away. Super friendly service and no pressure—definitely earned my trust. Highly recommend! I will be coming back for all my future car needs!
