Eddie and Hugo and his crew are so good and have been putting forth so much effort to help me with an ongoing issue with my car. Fair, reliable and communicative. Definitely recommend.

I came in for a battery replacement, which went fine until I inquired to what battery model was used. I just wanted to see the brand and part number so I know which exact battery they used, and that it was a new battery. I asked to see a recipt, online order, box, or even just the name of the battery model but he said he did not know and to just trust us.. Usually I would just check myself but my battery is more difficult to remove, and the labels aren't visible without taking out the air filter and other parts. Everything else was fine, but not being able to show a part number, receipt, or part name when requested seemed shady since that's a very basic request I ask of any mechanic.

On my initial trip to Eddy, I told him that I needed to have an oil change and engine check, as well as general tune. I was charged $200 for a wheel rotation, oil change and general tune up/ engine check (which at the time I thought was reasonable). Upon leaving, I noticed that my car was making a rattle sound coming from my tires. I brought it back to Eddy the next day and was told that in fact I needed entirely new tires not a rotation. (Any mechanic upon first inspection should have told me I needed new tires instead of doing a tire rotation and charging me for a useless service.) I got new tires, however the sound was still not gone. I brought it back to Eddy for the third time for him to assess it AGAIN and test drive it. After prompting him with questions as to what it might be, he circled my car and kicked the tires to check them (?). He said the sound was probably normal, and that I was just being nervous or that I should take it into a hyundai dealer. A couple weeks later I took it to a different dealer and they immediately recognized that the sound was in fact the rain guard that had fallen down onto my tire. They also told me that my engine was still dirty and that he most likely hadn't cleaned the filters, like he said he had. (they fixed everything for a FRACTION of the price he charged).

Eddy always takes great care of us. There's never a fear about getting taken advantage of, and he and his team do good work. Highly recommended.
